wahhhh! it has been a loooooonnnnggggg time since I updated my blog! I can say that I was lazy to post any entries. Lazy wanna brainstorm on what to write for each post!
Last week I was busy completing the draft of my thesis. It took me 3 days to crap my thesis. Of course it needs to be altered further. otherwise it really is crap and I would get F for it! ugh! Presentation of the thesis will be next Friday! OMG! I have not even prepared my slideshows yet! *dies*
I still have 2 more assignments to complete. One of them I have to complete it by today (Thursday). Due date is the following day, Friday! geez! Been procrastinating again! watched Kyou Kara Maou Season 3 last few nights.
I have the urge to go for some karaoke sessions but time does not permit me to do so! there are so many things to do and finals is just 1 month away! arghhhh! This weekend I have to babysit Mira coz no one is free to look after her.
I'm having stomachache right now! ugh! makes me no energy and no concentration to do my work! *sobs*

This week...
will be a busy week for me. I just stayed up the whole night (and this morning, too) to finish one of my assignments! When I wanted to upload it online, my internet connection suddenly slowed down and it annoyed me! haih... but luckily I successfully uploaded it on the site and went to sleep at 4.30am. I could not sleep immediately, so I had to twist and turn on my bed for half an hour. I set alarm at 7.30am but I could not get out of bed. so I escaped today's class (again!). I woke up at 1.20pm. now I'm feeling better after getting enough rest. :)

I realized...
that I missed all my morning classes for this week! what is wrong with me? Why am I so unmotivated to wake up early in the morning? Is it my metabolism for not exercising regularly? Is it my bedtime? I guess it is both, and my unending crave for entertainment especially Japanese dramas!

Since I got information from a mate of mine that our supervisor for FYP is currently in KL, this means that the due date for the assignment has been postponed to next week, most probably on Monday. This means I got the weekends to finish it. hehe... hopefully I am motivated to finish it, without much disturbance from my family. :)
Just finished watching a Korean movie entitle 'Antique Bakery'. It's really nice and there are pretty/handsome guys in there as the main characters! well, I have to give a little bit of warning that there is slight yaoi scenes. What is yaoi? Go google it up! hehehe...
Mom & Papa will be going back to Sibu next Monday. So I will be going back to sis's house and spend the weekend with the whole family. And my mom promised she'll be treating me to Pizza Hut's. hehehe... gaining more pounds again!
oh yea! the icky, dirty bathrooms of my hostel house has just been cleaned by the lady cleaners today! I would like to thank them for helping us cleaning it. We just did not have the tools to do so. That is why all the molds and algae stayed on the walls.... *ugh*

My head...
... is about to ooze out from my skull! I have ABSOLUTELY no idea on what to write for my literature review for my final year project (fyp) and I have to pass it up tomorrow!
oh wait, I just got a word from my mate that our supervisor won't be in tomorrow! yay! more time to finish the work! *phew* but this does not mean that I can slack (again and again and again...). I hope to crap my way, I mean my work out in 3 days!
I am so disoriented. Someone gotta save me from this madness/loneliness. By the way, I am still waiting for Tricia to online and chat with her via MSN. geez, that girl want her head off!!!

yay! a new post! it has been a very long time since I updated. well, this weekend I am at sis's house. Monday is a public holiday for Malaysia's 52nd Independence Day. So I will be hanging out here till Monday evening.
It has been great to play with Mira. She is so naughty, asking people to play with her most of the time. she did not sleep much during the day today. Because I have no other ways to entertain her, I showed her NEWS's Pacific Concert (2008). She was very excited. Her heart was thumping so fast as if it were to pop out of her chest anytime! lol~
I have not done anything for my final year project (aka thesis). been so lazy and unmotivated. I do not know how to motivate myself. -.-"
so sleepy now. it is 4.20am. Time for me to sleep. I do not want some ugly pimple to appear on my face! :(

updates(?)
hi guys! sorry for not updating this blog for a loooong time. my wireless broadband has got some problems which I am not sure of. I just found out last night that my housemates who uses broadband like mine is experiencing the same problem, too! doh, is it because Unimas has too many people using celcom broadband? then please do something about it if you want your customers to be loyal to u, CELCOM!! *anger*
Kuching is experiencing water rationing. and it so happened that my hostel and another hostel nearby did not have water from 5-11pm. and coincidentally I went to the gym yesterday evening to workout! so I was sticky the whole night. luckily me and 2 of my roommates went to a nearby faculty and took our baths there. there were tonnes and tonnes of water enough for everyone. If today and tomorrow we are still experiencing water rationing, I think I will have to stay at my sister's house. I cannot stand it not having water, especially to pee and poo-poo. LOL~
Today me and other 25 people went for a site visit to Sanmina, an electronic chip manufacturing company. it was interesting but at the same time, all of us were yawning the whole way. I almost dozed off while I was taking notes of what the speaker was saying! -.-"

Hi
Hello to everyone who drops by my blog! Thank you for dropping by (even without leaving any signs behind. :P). em, I have not been updating my blog for almost a month! right now I am baby sitting my niece while my sister is cooking dinner and my bro-in-law is watching tv. I did some household chores earlier and I have not taken my bath yet! the weather in Kuching is sooooo HOT that I have to sweat 1st every night before going to sleep! Maybe that is the cause that made my face looks horrible with all the pimple popping out on the left side of my cheeks! Walking to classes in the HOT afternoons melted my facial products which I applied on my face before going to classes! geez, wasting my money only! >.<
I only started going to classes last week although it started 2 weeks ago! hehe... the lazy bug bit me! Took up Japanese Language Level 2 this semester. Hopefully I this could polish up my speaking skills! :D
I am trying to change my style of writing and I will try my best to keep every post short! :D

*reporting yesterday's events*
Roles:
Mr. A : the car driver
Mr. B : car passenger
Mr. C : Motorcyclist
Mr. D : Passenger of the motorcylist
While I was enjoying my laksa for breakfast, an minor accident happened right in front of Block G of Swinburne! Mr. A was dropping off his passenger, Mr. B, in front of Block G. When Mr. opened the car door, he accidentally knocked the door at an oncoming motorcycle on his left. Mr. C & Mr. D fell down together with the motorcycle! Mr. B was still blur on what is happening (I saw it on his face). Then a guard nearby quickly rushed over to see what happened. After Mr. B came out of the car, Mr. C got up from his bike, helped Mr. D up on his feet, pick up the bike, took off his helmet and start shouting at Mr. B for his carelessness. Mr. C was very pissed of with Mr. B. Because Mr. B was late for work, Mr. A told him that he will settle this matter with Mr. C. So they both stood there, Mr. C was shouting nonstop at Mr. A. From my view, Mr. A looked like he did not want to admit that it was his fault (to be exact, Mr. B's fault). so they had a little quarrel in the middle of the road. Then Mr. C drove his motorcycle to a parking lot and Mr. A also drove away from that road to not cause traffic jam. I do not know what happened between them after that as I was late for work as well and I the last thing I saw was a person in charge of safety rushed to the scene and maybe try to work things out between Mr. A and Mr. C.
My observation of the incident:
- Maybe Mr. A did not display any signal that he is stopping there to drop his passenger.
- Maybe Mr. B did not look at his side mirror before he opens the door.
- Maybe Mr. C thought that Mr. B will look through his side mirror 1st before coming out of the car and Mr. C has a chance to squeeze through between the curb and the car.
So this is what happened yesterday. Will be updating today's events later. :D

lol!
I have changed the layout of my blog again. Ignore the title of the blog if you hate it. hehehe... I love this layout! thanks to the creator of this layout! *hugssss*
There are rumours this morning that there is H1N1 infected student in Swinburne Sarawak. I am not sure whether it is real or not. Have not heard any confirmation about it. So I assume that it is not true. hehe...
Last night I sms an old friend of mine who is currently working in Papua New Guinea (dang, dunno how to spell the name of the country. Had to Google it up). Spent RM4.++ !! *shocked* 1 sms = Rm0.20 . In the end we ended up chatting online because I could not afford to spend another credit of mine (YES, i am very stingy with credits!).
I intended to sleep early last night but I ended up sleeping after 11pm. I never follow the original plans of my own planning. Mira was so excited when she watched 'Surf's Up' on HBO last night. I think she slept later than me.
A colleague of mine treated me to a bowl of laksa for breakfast today. That is so nice of her! I have not properly thanked her for it yet! hehe...
Today is one of my supervisor's birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DARREN! muahahahahaha...
I guess that is all I have to say right now! back to my work! (been onlining nonstop since I arrived at the office! lol!)

sooooo sleepy today! why not? I did not get enough sleep for the past 4 nights. call me crazy/stupid/whatever. lol~ I do not mind. I almost doze off while typing documents. darn! my brain can almost remember the position of each letters on the keyboard. I had to open my eyes just to see what my fingers have typed on the screen! lol~

17th June 2009, Wednesday
My cousin's son (which is also my nephew. His name is Xander) turned 5 years old today. There was a joint birthday party that night for the grandson and grandfather (the grandfather is my uncle! LOL~). My uncle's birthday falls on the following day, 18th June. He is 69 years old already!
My sister bought a Transformer autobot for Xander. It is only Level 2 transformation (for ages 4+). I forgot the name of the autobot, but it has the name 'Jolt'. something to do with electricity. We reached the location rather late! The family waited for us to arrive before they start the birthday celebration. How thoughtful of them! (and we were feeling pretty guilty for arriving late).
Xander's dad bought him a HUGE Bumblebee that can transform, talk, and even MOVE!! my estimation of the price is around rm400-rm500! so cool! I forgot to snap the picture of the Bumblebee thought. hehehe... Xander's dad promised that he would buy the Bumblebee for him if he scored 5 A's in his report card (he is only in elementary school!). I was amazed...

Swinburne organized Trivia Nite for all its staffs. Swinburne staffs' tickets only cost RM10. Adult guest is RM15 each. Children age between 6 to 12 cost RM5 each. Children below 5 will be free! The night before, me and my sister were busy ripping karaoke videos from the cds to the external harddisk. Both of us were dead tired from lack of sleep (as usual). Since the committee members gave her (and dragging me along because I am the SISTER) the responsibility to choose songs to be played and karaoke songs to be sung for the event. I sang one song but I was so nervous, I just keep on moving myself to chase away that nervousness. There were LOTS and LOTS of food! there were so much food that everyone tapau them home! lol~ we finished at slightly after 10pm. By the time we reached home, we were soooo tired!

I went to St Joseph Cathedral for Mira's baptism briefing. It was informative learning our roles as godparents and parents to the baby/child/children. gosh... Godparents' responsibilities are rather heavy! I just knew that. In the afternoon, I went out with Claud and Fam to boutiques cause Claud is still looking for the perfect prom dress for Swinburne's prom night. There is a high possibility that I will be going because I have a dress which belongs to my sister and I just need to find the right heels for it. hehehe... after that we went to Sarawak Plaza. I found 3 DBSK photo books, but the picture quality not the good ones. hmm.. so I did not buy it. I bought the Gokusen 3 SP dvd instead! lol! not sure when I will be watching it since I do not have time to watch it at the moment. Then we head off to The Spring to have dinner at Kenny Rogers. There were 6 of us: me, Claud, Carol, Fam, Gab, Justin. Justin was the guest of honour. Long time did not see/chat with him. The last time me and Claud saw him was when we were Form 1. Since I got in touch with him through Facebook (I begin to love Facebook more and more every day!) , we exchanged numbers and decided to meet up. lol! I had gastric that night. Could hardly stand up straight! The moment I reached home, I took gastric medicine (which I have to chew it to bits and I never like the taste! yuCK!!).

addict...
guess what? I am currently addicted to Facebook's applications especially Mafia Wars, Barn Buddy, Superpoke, Superpoke cute pets! arrrggghhh! soooo addictive! and I could not concentrate much in my work!! why oh why does Swinburne have such good internet connection? sheesh... and I am fretting over small matters like this...

Yesterday afternoon, my lecturer from Unimas came to visit me at Swinburne for the so-called inspection. Dr. H called me up slightly after 4pm and said he would like to pay me a visit as he was somewhere near the area. I guess I was on his 'last-minute' list because he asked me what time I will be finishing work. My friend, Juju, told me that Dr. H called Emy (another friend of mine) and told her that he will be coming to visit them sometime this week. And he visited them yesterday morning. heheh... He asked them quite a number of questions compared to me. I guess Dr. H was in quite a rush to go home (and maybe to avoid traffic jam as well). The jam is quite bad but still moving.
last nite Mira had another concert viewing again before she starts complaining that she wants to go to sleep. she enjoys activities, so can consider that she does not sleep as much as other babies (I think). I showed her NEWS's concert. she likes the dancing steps (as usual). I also showed her the latest PV of Arashi's singles, Ashita no Kioku and Crazy Moon~kimi no muteki~. I like Crazy Moon~kimi no muteki~ coz it has an upbeat tune and throughout the whole PV, there was only dancing! which I think Mira likes it a lot! hehehe...
this morning I ate kolo mee which I take away from Chilli Peppers. and now my tummy seems to be suffering of moving wind. arghhhhh! I have been kentuting for quite some time now! lol~

I'm back!
Well, did you (my readers) miss me? *gets bricked* lol~
I did not go to work last Friday as I was on sick leave with medical certificate (MC). I was too tired and could hardly breathe whenever I am in air-conditioned areas/rooms. Lucky for me no lecturers decided to come and visit me for inspection! hehehe... Well, I AM still waiting for them to visit me SOON! been waiting for almost a month now!
Since I got sick on Tuesday, I did not go near Mirabelle. I think she missed me playing with her, too. Because whenever I stood about 1 meter away from her (preventing from passing the virus to her) and waving, and sometimes dancing, in front of her, she would smile at me! lol! but I cannot win my dad. He only said the words "My pretty little girl", she smiled so wide that you could even see her gums (which also means she has toothless smiles! LOL!!!)! I took lots of cute pictures of her but I have not transfered them to my laptop (darn, I am SO lazy whenever it comes to my PC during my semester breaks. I do not even bother to go online unless I am bored to death).
Finally, I took some cute pics together with Mira! I slept late last night at 1am. a couple of hour s before that I watched Transformers DVD with my sister and after the movie ended, I babysit Mira for about an hour while my dad was busy throwing the garbage and feed the dogs outside the house. I do not think that I will be playing with Mira today. Otherwise I will ended up sleeping late again (from watching DVD concerts of Tohoshinki, KAT-TUN, Hey! Say! JUMP!). Since we stopped that activity, Mira gets bored easily, too. hm...
Today I am collecting lots of information on what to put inside the induction program. hehe... I am sleepy but after lunch, i'm rejuvenerated agaiN! :D
I have not stalked SYC for about 10 days!! gosh! I am soooo outdated about their concerts and of coz, good-looking pictures! :P Will be going home late today because my brother-in-law will be picking me and my sister. *sigh*
I suddenly got the Johnny's mania!!! And I am soooo angry at myself for missing the Shounen Club show last nite on NHK World! arghhhhH!!! *kick myself* The special guest appearance is Tegoshi Yuya! My very 1st favourite idol!!!

I did not go to work last Friday as I was on sick leave with medical certificate (MC). I was too tired and could hardly breathe whenever I am in air-conditioned areas/rooms. Lucky for me no lecturers decided to come and visit me for inspection! hehehe... Well, I AM still waiting for them to visit me SOON! been waiting for almost a month now!
Since I got sick on Tuesday, I did not go near Mirabelle. I think she missed me playing with her, too. Because whenever I stood about 1 meter away from her (preventing from passing the virus to her) and waving, and sometimes dancing, in front of her, she would smile at me! lol! but I cannot win my dad. He only said the words "My pretty little girl", she smiled so wide that you could even see her gums (which also means she has toothless smiles! LOL!!!)! I took lots of cute pictures of her but I have not transfered them to my laptop (darn, I am SO lazy whenever it comes to my PC during my semester breaks. I do not even bother to go online unless I am bored to death).
Finally, I took some cute pics together with Mira! *sniiiiiiifffff*
I am down with flu which includes fever and sore throat! and I am still coming to work! This is because I cannot take any sick leave unless I have medical certificate (MC). So here I am in front of my desk sniffing my mucus (ewww) back to my systems!
Lunch will be at 12pm today. I cannot wait to go home! I will see the doctor tonight at Chong's Clinic located at 2 1/2 Mile and get a MC! I seriously cannot work well with my current condition! *sniff again*
I have not been drinking much water today (coz I have not refilled my bottle). Have to eat 2 tablets of Panadol! ugh! I am not sure how I got sick. My guess(es) is
1) did not have enough sleep (sleep late, wake up early)
2) wash hair so late at night

oh dear...
oh mannnn~ I have been eating nonstop since 10am this morning! been eating bits of cakes brought by my HR officer, Jane! The chocolate cheese is super delicious! Hopefully tomorrow she will bring more of it again. ^_^
There are other recipes as well but the chocolate cheese will be current favourite!
and another HR officer, Emy, gave all of us chocolates (imported ones, of course!). I thought of fasting from chocs but it seems I cannot do so as my appetite seems to be big today!
My work today is just continuing my induction handbook outline and checking the HRDF's figures and print them out and then chop (using stamps!) all the receipts to make it claimable from HRDF later. Since I do not have the chance at home to blog, I will be posting a short post here! :D
Mira will be getting another shot from her doctor (not sure what shot is it this time). I won't be going to the clinic with her because I do not feel like it. Maybe I will change my mind if I still have the energy to go later. hehe...
Last night, I entertained Mira with her caterpillar stuffed toy given by her paternal aunt (I am the maternal aunt). I made lots of weird actions with the toy and she enjoyed it. Half an hour later, she got bored of it. So I had to bring her up to my room to watch tour concert starring Hey! Say! JUMP! (aka HSJ for short). The concert is Hey! Say! JUMP-ing Tour 2008. Watched it halfway. Mira also enjoyed watching KAT-TUN's Queen of Pirates concert! gosh... she really enjoys watching them dance. And she tried to dance her own version out! too bad I did not film the process cause I was holding her.

Today I ate lunch with my cliques (Fila, Ani, Dennis, and newcomer, Sophia). Sis went out an hour earlier to go to St. Joseph's Cathedral to collect the baptism form for Mira. The baptism will be on 28th June and I am going to be her godmother!

gosh...
yoohooo... I am sorry for not updating my blog for the past week. I have been rather busy with my projects that I am supposed to finish by next week to present it to my HR manager! she is on leave till the end of next week! So now I have to rush with my projects! maybe I cannot relax this weekend and next weekend!
I have 2 friends and an idol of mine whose birthday falls on TODAY, 4th June! Carol's boyfriend, Gab, my primary school friend, Francesca, & Park Yoochun of TVXQ. Gab & Francesca is 21 this year and Yoochun is 23.
HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY, Gab and Francesca! May you guys enjoy your birthday till 11.59pm (today only)!
p/s: there will be a little spamming of Yoochun's pics towards the end of this post! :P
I got myself a new hairdo last Saturday. I was supposed to have a trim only, but my hairstylist decided to give me a FUNKY hairstyle. I have yet to transfer the pics to my laptop and then to my pendrive. So you can only wait for it maybe this coming weekend or maybe next week!
I went visiting on Hari Gawai (aka Harvest Festival) for 2 consecutive days! And I have to congratulate myself for being able to put on quite a few pounds! Argh! Definitely have to cut down on my meat intake for the coming weeks! I ate lots of mutton and beef! All the food served at those houses were sooooooooo delicious that I even went for seconds!
Oh yea, I went fishing for talapia at my brother-in-law's aunty's pond! caught so many! but mostly the small, tiny ones. Not big enough to be eaten yet. So I released them from the hook and throw them back into the pond. Though it hurts them physically (because of the fishing hook), I stopped the activity after I caught around 12 fishes. Pics will only be available in future posts!

bored...
I am feeling bored for the past few days. Been wasting my time by doing work that I manage to pile up the last 3 weeks! lol!~ so now I am drafting and quoting EPF's FAQs for Swinburne. I do not even have the high urge to stalk SYC. maybe because there are not much updates on TVXQ so the admins decided to spamz the site with lots and LOTS of pics. i enjoyed looking at the pictures but there is nothing much to comment about.
[it is supposed to be a secret from the lecturers! Hopefully they do not stalk my blog! *fingers crossed*]
The past few days I did not play with Mira. Her daddy played with her. So I just go online instead. LOL! Next Monday and Tuesday are public holidays for Sarawak. Sarawak will be celebrating Harvest Festival during these 2 days. It is to thank the Gods of Harvest for giving the farmers good harvests of rice(?). I forgot already! *failed Sarawakian*
Anyway, there will be lots of wine drinking. These wines are made from fermented rice which the locals call 'tuak'. I heard that Japanese who ever drank tuak loves it very much because it is much sweeter than their sake. I have only drank tuak once, so I cannot give much comments on how tuak tastes like.
I have a new blog account at wordpress.com. I am still considering whether I should shift my blog from Blogspot to Wordpress or just stay put in Blogspot. hm...

Birthday Bash 3, 4, 5
Birthday Bash 3 (21st May 2009):
I went out with my family (this includes Mira, too!) to Boulevard to celebrate my birthday with them. We ate dinner at Kenny Rogers because my family do not want to eat any fried food (eg. KFC, Sugabun). We also ate there because my parents never ate there before. I carried Mira all the way from home to Boulevard. She just loves car rides (she fell asleep immediately during the car ride!). She enjoyed herself the whole time at Kenny Rogers. I think this is because the environment there was really calm and colourful! She loves staring at the menu I showed to her, too! Ok, enought of Mira. Each of us ordered the quarter meal (a quarter of the whole chicken with 3 side dishes which you can choose from their menu). I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. *wink* We spent RM117.20. Exactly the SAME AMOUNT of what me and Fam spent at Koreana!
We blew out my birthday cake after we returned from Boulevard. It was past 10pm! Gosh! I also celebrate Mira's 2nd month in this world. We took quite a number of pictures. Will be posting them here.

Birthday Bash 4 (22nd May 2009):
My colleagues from the HR department (only 2 out of 5 of them) brought me out for lunch at The Spring's food court. It was another surprise to me as I did not expect them to treat me (a trainee there of 2 months) for my birthday! Hehe... I ordered cheesey chicken baked rice (sorry I did not take a picture of the food) and it cost me RM9.00. My colleague paid for it (Thanks a lot! Really appreciate it!). I ordered papaya juice, too. It was my first time drinking papaya juice! Luckily it tasted good (maybe the sugar water helped as well. I do not know~). Then we hung out at MPH Bookstore till it was time to return to the office.
Birthday Bash 5 (24th May 2009):
Today I went out with Shiela and Juju. Did not take any pictures today because we do not feel like taking. Or you can say we forgot. lol~ I wanted to eat lunch at some western food but MOST of the western restaurants are closed on Sundays! *sobs* In the end we ate at Hanii's Corner (actually I do not remember the full name of the shop. Sorry!). Me and Juju ordered sirloin beef slice whereas Shiela ordered butter chicken rice. The prices are reasonable (or you can label it cheap if you get the chance to eat there and compare the prices with other shops). After lunch, we immediately went to Absolute Lounge & KTV for karaoke session! Shiela forgot to bring her student ID. She almost could not get the student price but the tauke (aka boss of the shop) was kind enough to charge her with the student price! *thankful for the kind-hearted boss* So we were there for about 4 hours singing non-stop! We sang mostly English songs, with a few Japanese songs. We finished singing at 6pm because that is our time limit! So Shiela sent me home first because I could not want to join them for dinner (I promised my family that I will be eating dinner at home).

Mini surprise from my (best) friends in Swinburne
I was a little bit surprised when I entered the Room G215 during lunch break. My friends, Carol, Claud, Fam, & Gab, waited there for me with a mini surprise. They bought 2 mini slices of rectangular-shaped cake and a lunch for me! They told me to sit down in front of the cakes and I was all smiles while they sang the birthday song to me. Since I do not have any wishes to wish for, I just blew out the candles. Maybe I should have wished for Park Yoochun as my date for one day instead! *bricked by SYC admins* LOL! Anyway, that will never come true.
After blowing out the candles, the 4 of us (excluding Gab) ate our lunch. Carol tapau seafood fried rice for me! Thanks for the meal! It was delicious! Although I was not very hungry, I manage to finish the meal...well, very slowly. heheh.. Then we all ate the cakes which were bought from Taka (forgot to ask them who actually bought those cakes).
The one with the Oreo biscuit on top as decoration is delicious and creamy! It is a cheese cake! Yummy! The other one, which has toffee as its topping and chocolate as its base is too sweet for all of us. It choked our throat! But since I am a cake lover, I just ate them (not forgetting to mention the calories that I have to take in and the hard work to burn them!)
There's more coming tonight! I cannot wait to see the BIG cake! :P

I am still wondering what should I eat tonight to celebrate my birthday. My mum seems reluctant to eat Sugabun. I definitely do not want to eat KFC and Pizza Hut's. Been eating those too many times. If I order from Sushi King's, my mum is not a fan of Sushi King's. ahh... tough choices (and lots of brain storming as well) to make! well, I might just ask for suggestions from my best friends later! We will be meeting up during lunch break.
I ordered a 1kg birthday cake (which I have mentioned in my earlier post) and will be collecting it today. I cannot wait to see how my cake looks like! It is a birthday gift from my sister! *thank you Max!* *hugs*

I am still wondering what should I eat tonight to celebrate my birthday. My mum seems reluctant to eat Sugabun. I definitely do not want to eat KFC and Pizza Hut's. Been eating those too many times. If I order from Sushi King's, my mum is not a fan of Sushi King's. ahh... tough choices (and lots of brain storming as well) to make! well, I might just ask for suggestions from my best friends later! We will be meeting up during lunch break.

Happy day(s)~
Yesterday I went to order my birthday cake from Mita Cake House at the 2 and 1/2 Mile branch. I ordered a 1kg chocolate cheese cake. It costs RM62! Since my sister will be sponsoring for my birthday cake, so I sort of take the advantage to order the biggest cake! *crazy girl*
My sister was expecting me to order a half kg cake, but I saw the sample of the cake and it was too small. I have HUGE appetite when it comes to cakes! *yummy* I cannot wait to collect and see the cake tomorrow! Then we will the ceremony of cutting-the-birthday-cake after I take away "special" dinner after work!
I played with Mira last night. My bro-in-law and sis did not came back home till after 8pm. So I spent my time playing with Mira. She talked a lot last night to the lion stuffed toy which belongs to her mum. The name of the stuffed toy is Buncit (it means plump in English). She talked to Buncit for almost 5 minutes and she was actually enjoying herself. So happy to hear her talk baby talk! *grinning*
Today I had laksa for breakfast! I have not had laksa for 2 months already! It was delicious! Hopefully the spicyness of the laksa would not trigger the pimples to pop out on my face! *worries* As usual, I stalk Sharing YooChun (next few post I will address it as SYC only) the moment I sat down in front of my pc in the office.
I ate lunch with my colleagues today because for the past 2 days I brought lunch from home (which is only bread and some other local pastry). I wish to lose weight faster by doing my daily routine of walking up and down the stairs when given the chance! And of course drink lots and lots of water which I ended up going to toilet often! hehe...
I always secretly sms to Carol! *guilty* and Facebook-ing, stalking SYC, check email. lol! my work is always never done... And I am actually worried for the coming 3 weeks as my lecturers will be coming to the organization where we are having practical right now for an inspection! I hope that I will be busy doing some work. die la me... and the rest of my batch~

new layout!
yay! I have got a NEW layout! kinda hard to find suitable layout for my blog. some layouts got nice pics but the fonts are just too small and hardly can be read! I personally do not like Yoochun's hair in this Mirotic period. But it is one of the nicest layout that fits for my blog.
anyway, yesterday I went home rather early. I did not realize the time to go home until my mum gave me a call so that I have enough time to pack my things and go to the place where they were supposed to pick me.
reached home around nearly 7pm. Dropped by 3rd Mile because Papa wanted to buy some anchovies (aka ikan bilis). I took a 30-minute bath because I washed my hair. Why it took me soooo long? Here is the process:
1. Wash with shampoo. Rinse.
2. Apply conditioner on hair. Leave for about 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Apply hair treatment. Leave for minimum of 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
haih... Because I could not stand the pimples crowding my face, I applied facial mask (which it belongs to my sister) and leave for 5 minutes. Then rinse it with water. I need to avoid all fried and spicy food to avoid having more pimples on my face! *boohooo*

Birthday Bash!
Yesterday (Sunday), me, Claud, Fam, Carol, and Gab went to celebrate our (me & Fam's) 21st birthday. My birthday is on 21st May and Fam's on 23rd May. I do not know if my friends still remembers my birthday (those who are far, far away from me). I do not mind if they have forgotten. But it definitely will make me happy if they send me sms, facebook, or friendster birthday messages. Hehehe... Anyway, back to my report.
Fam came pick me up from my house at 9.40am. then we went to pick Claud up. Went to have breakfast at Hong Kong Pau, which is located somewhere at Padungan. It was my first time there and I have to say that their food is DELICIOUS! It serves pork, so it is not halal. I still cannot remember the names of the food I ate because it is in chinese and I can say it is the first time that I heard of the name.
After breakfast, we went to Crown Square. Claud is still searching for a suitable dress for the coming prom which will be organized by Swinburne's Student Council. Since it will be their (Claud, Carol, Fam, Gab) final year in Swinburne, they decided to attend this year's prom. I will be joining them, too, since I have got a dress (which belongs to my sister). I managed to buy a pair of earrings from one of the shops there.
Next, we went to Hock Lee Centre. Carol and I bought 3 pairs of earrings each as it only cost RM10 for 3 pairs! LOL! Suddenly I got the urge to wear those dangling, long earrings to work (and maybe to classes in the future if suitable).
Then we went to Koreana to have lunch. By the time we reached there at 2pm, it was closed for their lunch break! geez... Their opening time is from 10am-2pm; 5pm-10pm. Since we went there on Sunday, I am not sure if that is also their operating hours on weekdays. The food portion is really big. You can eat the whole portion yourself if you have a BIG appetite. If you do not have one, then it is wiser to share it with a friend or two. Most of the food in the menu are spicy. Since I do not like spicy food, I did not order anything spicy. Food ranges from RM10 to RM 60 (some of them depending on how big the serving you want to order). Right now I am missing the pictures of the food as I DO NOT OWN MY OWN CAMERA. so I have to the pictures from Claud (in the next few days).
Since we have to skip lunch, we directly go to Absolute KTV & Lounge. It is a new KTV and they have some Japanese songs! LOL! Of course it was all in Kanji and Hiragana! and got 3 TVXQ songs! one of them is RISING SUN! the actual karaoke version was in Mandrin, but I just go ahead with Japanese version! lol... It is only RM10 for students per head (make sure to bring your student ID for verification) and RM13 for normal people (per head) from 12pm to 6pm. other times I did not take note.
We went back to Koreana at around 5.30pm for dinner. Kevin and Aaron joined us. We ordered 5 dishes. Total price is RM117. Since me and Fam share the bill (we sponsored the other 4 as a treat), we split the bill to half. It was a good experience eating Korean food. I still prefer Japanese food. Maybe it is because it suits my taste. I am NOT being biased here!
Kevin sent me home last night. He is a speeding freak. But I am ok with that. LOL! reached home before 8.30pm. It was a fun day and tiring. hehe..

waiting....
I cannot wait for the weekend to come! I will be celebrating my birthday with Fam on Sunday. I do not know where to go in the morning. To hang out at the shopping mall from 10am is no fun. I want to go outdoors. Karaoke is definitely in and so is lunch. Karaoke location still not confirmed yet. Lunch will be at Koreana. Suddenly got the urge to eat some Korean food.
Right now, I am blogging illegally at work! I am supposed to think of how to improve their (the organization) induction program. I do not have any idea yet. Been lazy this whole week. Hopefully next week I will be hardworking to read all the info that I have collected for as my research to do the project later. I am sleepy right now. My sis just love to ask me to do things at the "right" time! I will be going home rather late because I have to follow my bro-in-law. *sigh*
Luckily I had my lunch with Claudia and Fam. Ate a place called Yew Fook. I ordered butter fish fillet. It was rather oily and I did not taste much of the butter flavour. Claudia ordered the same but hers is squid. Fam ordered kolo mee in soup (forgot the name of that food). I only spent RM5.70 for lunch today. Not bad!

wow~
ok... I have not updated this blog for a very very long time! Currently I am a practical trainee at Swinburne University (Sarawak Campus, of course!). This week is my 2nd week here. I have done a few tasks that I am supposed to learn. Right now my job is to help in their project, which is improving the induction program for the new Swinburne staffs which will be commenced some time in July. I would not be here anymore at that time as I will be starting a new semester (my final year) that month. The working environment here is quite relaxing. I always online secretly (scared that I will get caught by my supervisors) especially when onlining Facebook! lol!
My lunch break is either at 12-1pm or 1-2pm from Mondays to Thursdays and 12-2pm on Fridays. So on Fridays is the only day that I can go eat out of the campus! Last week I went with Claud, Carol, Gab, & Fam. Yesterday ate rojak kuche (is it spelt correctly?) with my colleague, Fila. I do not know how to explain the location (coz I still do not know my way around Kuching that well yet!).
I am soooo sleepy right now. I cannot concentrate on what I am supposed to do. Cannot wait for my lunch break to arrive (which is another hour away from this entry post).
Oh yea! One of my front tooth chipped off! A small chip but I think it is quite deep. I cannot wait to go visit the dentist this coming Saturday to see if there is anything that can be done onto my teeth.
I plan to celebrate me and Fam's birthday this weekend but it might be postponed because Tricia has a high possibility that she would not make it to Kuching by this weekend. she might only be able to come next weekend if her dad allows her to come.
I plan to go for karaoke sessions, then grab a bite at a Korean restaurant. Hope that it would not be expensive as I am currently low in cash. ):

ramblings
Tomorrow's my day to start my internship. I am still not ready (mentally) because I just do not feel like it. Maybe because I am still exhausted. I did not get enough rest for the last few days. Every time when I am ready to go to sleep, my sister comes down to the living room with Mira. so I have to play with Mira before she fell asleep again. so I slept EARLY in the MORNING and wake up some time in the afternoon. tonight I have to sleep early because I have to wake up around 6am tomorrow morning. I am a slow person (as in getting ready early in the morning).
Tomorrow TVXQ is starting their Japan tour. I am not sure where is their first destination but I bet it will be fun! They will end their tour at Tokyo Dome where it will be their first Dome concert ever. I heard that they were so thrilled about it that they are willing to give 300% of their energy during the concert! I wish I could attend the concert as well! well, gotta work hard and save lots of money so I can enjoy in the later years of my life.
Mira's sleeping soundly now. Her parents bought few new toys for her. She likes particularly the one that you stick to the side of the crib and it rotates with music being played as it rotates. I am not sure what it is called cause I have not seen the package of that toy. LOL!

updates!
wow! it has been a very long time since I last updated my blog. I was so busy with my assignments for the last 2 months. Now I am free from those but I have something new to worry about: my internship.
my internship will be starting this coming Monday. I will be doing my internship at Swinburne University in Kuching. I am staying with my sister and bro-in-law and niece, Mirabelle. My parents are here in Kuching, too, taking care of my sister and Mira. she LOVES to complain a lot! lol! but she's adorable in some ways.
my internship will take up 8 weeks of my semester holidays. this means that I would not be able to enjoy my semester break this year. but I will get to experience how it feels like to work at workplace with different people (aka diversity). and I will be paid as well. I heard from my coursemates that I am one of those few who will be paid during internship. Lucky me!
Mira is growing up well. she is already 5 weeks old. she starts to drink a lot and sleep a bit less. she is always active in the middle of the night! it makes me and my sister suffering from minor insomnia. and we both have black bags under our eyes! but once she's active, her eyes like to focus on interesting things (aka the TV). she also like to look at me. hm..
I hope I will be able to update this blog more often during my internship. mum will surely use my laptop to play her mahjong games which I specifically installed into my laptop for her to play. Coz sis's desktop has gone hairwired!

Happy yet tired
I feel happy this whole week. This is because my sister gave birth to a healthy baby girl last Monday afternoon right before 5pm. Her name is Mirabelle Veneranda (I do not want to put the full name. Later got some psycho people hunt her down!). I do not know what her nickname will be (yet). I cannot wait to go back to my sis's house this weekend! I want to meet my newborn niece! My sis just SMS-ed me that she is growing! argh! and I am already missing the first few days of her growth! My mum said that Mirabelle looks a lot like her mum (which is my sis), but her body frame seems to follow her dad (my bro-in-law). hmm.. I have to see this for myself and confirm it. LOL! I will try my best to take pics of Mirabelle when I get back home.
My sis is going through maternity confinement (the Chinese style) right now for 1 whole month. This means that she cannot touch water at all. cannot bath, wash hands, etc (you get the point). so I really do not know how she could bear this for 1 whole month. Every day have to eat either kachang ma chicken or herbal chicken soup. The kachang ma is a type of herb which can help to prevent 'wind' trapped in your body system (I think. I gotta ask my mum first!). Every day she has to eat chicken. By the end of her confinement, I am SURE she does not want to see (what more to say eat) chicken anymore for at least a few months.
I am feeling very tired right now as I did not get enough rest for the last few days. My dark circles around my eyes are getting worse day by day. And it is puffy too! I feel like a need a long break! assignments not yet settle! and finals will be in 3 weeks time! and I have not started doing any revision yet. *dies*

in this post, I would like to express about me and my group members' dissatisfaction towards our group assignment leader for Research Method, YCL. she has been pushing us around without consideration.
1st, she wanted the parts of assignments that were distributed to us to be given back to her the following day! what are we, ROBOTS?!?! girl, we are not robots so do not boss us around like you are high and mighty. it is different if you are working in a firm with a big post there.
2nd, the report that was mostly prepared by her was in a mess. she volunteered to do the whole report, so we did not really help out with the final touches of the report. I was the last person to edit the report. there were many parts missing and I have no choice but to do it to make it look good. In the end, I have to sleep late that night and miss class the following morning. This pissed me off as I was looking forward to attend that lecture very much! oh, and the report, we were supposed to include Literature Review. at first, YCL mentioned that it was not necessary to include it in the report. then she blamed another member, MMH, that she did not pass it to her. WTF! she could not even make up her mind on what she wanted in the report!
3rd, 3 weeks ago we were supposed to have group discussion. YCL told MMH that she will help conduct the group discussion as MMH had to attend another meeting which was really important. me and Z (another member) waited for an hour for her to come. but she never showed up. she did not even SMS us to tell us whether she will come or not. so wasting our precious time. dahla cun cun that week we have exams to study for and another assignment to pass up.
4th, we did the presentation on our findings 2 weeks ago. I was chosen randomly by the lecturer to present for our group. since I have not seen the presentation slides prepared by YCL, I was really nervous when my name was mentioned. so I just present as I always do. then the persimistic YCL thought that our group got the lowest presentation marks. when I peeped at the evalutation form of the lecturer, we got a nice 8/10. then i have to tell YCL that we got good marks. then she was slightly relieved.
5th, she borrowed my pendrive last week as she forgot to bring hers that day. then, she accidentally saved all the documents regarding to our report into my pendrive. the next day, she told me to meet up with her just to get the data from me. It was Friday, and I do not have classes on Fridays! she expect me to reach our faculty within 1 hour. when I read the SMS, I only got an hour to be there. and from my hostel to my faculty by foot takes approximately 20 minutes! she was trying to KILL me! luckily she told me to email the documents to her. and luckily I have a broadband to online. if not, I really have a bad mood for the whole day! and i will be shouting like a mentally ill person!
there are more, but this post is already too long! sorry for the looooong post. but I just want to express my feelings (and also my other 3 members). otherwise I will become crazy from this emotional stress!

tiring weekend
yes! i know i have finished exam last weekend, which was Personality Development. i did it badly. the questions are quite easy, but i did not study well for it! then there goes my 20%. think i will just pass with the passing line... wat am i talking about. i am actually having computer lab right now. so i am not concentrating on what i am typing (much). last Saturday, my sister moved into her new house! at the moment, it is still quite messy as we do not have enough time to clear the things up especially the study room, the master bedroom. now we get to enjoy aircond all the time! and i have got my own room there, too! one side of the wall is purple colour. and i have my own queen sized bed! all my life I have been sleeping on either super single sized bed or a single bed. i did not help much in the house last weekend as i was really tired. i did not have enough sleep for the last 4 nights. i feel like i am a walking zombie and I want to express my dissatisfaction on something. well, normally i do that by singing! i think i will do that tonight. will be singing Tohoshinki's songs (as usual). now i am CRAZY over them. dunno how it ended up this way.
everytime i meet up with my friend, Juju, we must talk about Tohoshinki. she's is turning me into one of the fangirls that will go "kyaa kyaaa" over them! ROTFLOL! she just bought a DVD concert of Tohoshinki's, which is their 3rd Concert Tour 2008 "T". it cost RM119! OMG! she is willing to buy it! LOL!! i will have to wait till this coming Friday to watch the concert together in my room! then the whole night we will go "kyaa kyaa". and I have my speaker (does not have the woofer type. it is the old timer's speaker) to boost up the energy! LOL!
i will be hanging out with my besties tomorrow afternoon. I wanna get my hair a trim. it is too long and it is hard for me to manage it as well. and i am going to buy other stuff. i have not made up the list yet. hopefully my expenses does not go beyond RM100. hehe...

busy weeks!
ahh... last few weeks I was so busy with assignments and midterm exams! so tiring and stressful! did not have enough time to rest. luckily my body system did not break down (eg. getting sick). I have passed up 1 Quality individual assignment, 1 Educational Technology wiki (group project), ... i forgot the rest already. I sat for 3 midterm paper for the past 2 weeks. glad that is over. but now i have to worry about my coming assigments that needs to be handed in by the end of this month! argh! i have not gotten anything done! and i got another exam tomorrow morning which is Personality Development. covers 4 units of the subject. and i have not even go find my notes which is probably stacked up somewhere in my super messy room.
that aside, I have got my EYES on TOHOSHINKI (aka Dong Bang Shi Ki, DBSK, THSK, TVFXQ, TVXQ)!! of course, i only listen to their Japanese songs. LOL! not the Korean and Chinese songs. [bias, aren't I>] I got attracted to them with their Jumon~Mirotic~ and Sennen Koi Uta songs! then my friend, Juju, is a HUGE fan of theirs. so she got me hooked to Tohoshinki by giving me their albums and single album. Then i listen to their songs everyday. I only liked a few songs, especially the ballads. hehe... their single, Bolero, which was released in January 2009, is one of my favourite! their latest single, Survivor, which will be out by the end of March, is not so nice to me. hehe...
ok la. i need to do 1 assignment which i have to pass it to my member (the editor) and I have to study. otherwise i would not be able to get enough sleep again. (ARGHH!)

Pangaea activities

well, i want to write about my day with Pangaea. You can read more about Pangaea here. I signed myself up to be part of Pangaea's facilitators. Our job is to guide the participants, which are the children, in the activities.
Pangaea has just opened its network in UNIMAS. So we will be having our monthly activities here at the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT). FIT is contributing their tech gadgets for us to use. For our 1st meeting, the children did Tako Introduction, which is a pair is formed according to the playing cards they have. They are paired up with the same number printed on the playing cards. the young children were shy to ask their older partners about what they like. I had to help loosen up the tension for this pair who consists of 1 teenager boy and a 10-year-old boy. the younger boy was so shy to speak, so I had to explained to him how to do the Tako Introduction. So I had to ask the older boy to start asking the younger boy about his likes and vise versa. It went quite well during the Tako Introduction for every pair. Then each pair had to introduce their partner about their liking to everyone. We have to clap our hands after each participant introduced their partner.
the next activity was drawing a house and a room of participants. they drew houses according to their own creativity. Everyone drew their houses beautifully. Some of them used bright colours and their houses looks attractive to look at. while the participants were busy drawing their houses/rooms, we lead one participant after another to take their pictures. they have to snap a picture of a happy face, sad face, a free style, and a full body free style. after that, we led them to a computer nearby to record their voices by saying "their name", "hello", and "thank you". I was there to check the checklist, recording who has done what. It was quite tiring as I had to rush here and there and asking the participants for their names. hehehe. but it was fun as well. I did not interact much with the children. I guess because the facilitators outnumbered the participants. so some of the facilitators just stood there, did not know what to do! I can say that I was one of them!
the activities ended at 12.10pm. after the closing speech made by Mr. Inoue (or was it Mr. Iwato), the meeting adjourned. All the participants were eager to come back again for the next meeting, which will be on 28th March.
